Animal Rescue

Settlers Pond has been rescuing abused and abandoned animals since 1998. As the animal rescue grew on the family farm, additional finances were needed to care for the growing number of inhabitants. The Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival was opened to raise funds for the continued operation and rescue of more animals.

Settlers Pond Shelter is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill shelter that rescues all types of domestic, wild, and exotic animals in need. Injured animals are rehabilitated and, when possible, domestic pets are adopted out. Donations to the shelter are tax-deductible. Volunteers are always welcome. There is a screening process necessary for all volunteers.
